Christ, you guys don't know what the term casual is at all. Everything you just stated was something a powergamer would do. Skipping content to get to top tier.

Considering a "casual" gamer can still be just as powerful as a hardcore, 8 hours a day gamer, nope, I think GW is still hitting the nail right on the head.

Also, "casual" != "unwilling to spend money on aesthetic stuff". You can play a handful of hours a week and still be willing to spend money changing your characters' appearance, or getting some extra storage.

I can see your point.

However, I still enjoy all this stuff and I am not hardcore, all I do is w/e I feel like in nm, and possibly touch the hm button for something like farming. I am still able to fully enjoy all of the new things anet added, just nothing extra that need additional payment, if it were an essential like an expansion or campaign I'd buy it, if it doesn't effect the game I doubt I'd pay for it, the only exception is the fire imp, I am fine w/o it.

if u are a causual gamer, u wouldn't be too worried about the big rewards of the z-quests. what would u need a big equip pack for if u game too casually to need the space? if u need the space, ur not that casual of a gamer ;-).

GW has become a game for the dumb masses.

It is very easy and the focus shifted to grinding and farming. Titles, coins, stuff you consume for titles and all that.

Thanks god ANet added daily quests, someone has to tell people what they have to do next, after all. It keeps people occupied who are already done with the game. Gives them something to work for. This is sick!

GW - the game where a storage bag becomes content. Don't wait for minor updates, this major update, a moving collector, daily switching quests and the Menagerie already pushed the team to the max.

The improvements to "le shoppe" were also a masterpiece of coding. Changing gender and hair was also declared simply impossible some time ago by a qualified former CM.

It seems that developers always get the idea that to cater to many people they have to make their game as dumb as humanly possible.

Let's see what we get in GW2.
